Six weeks in Greece at the tender age of 17 would leave an impression on any young woman, and that’s just what it did for me. Experiencing life in a tiny village, becoming part of a family of strangers, traveling the country visiting archeological ruins that hum with history, eating fresh feta cheese and crusty bread still hot from the oven, climbing to the top of Mount Olympus to visit the stomping grounds of the Gods and Goddesses of ancient mythology. These were the memories that inspired this collection.
